Winston Blissett has had a distinguished career as one of the UK's most in-demand bass players, having played with acts as diverse as Lisa Stansfield, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Dizzee Rascal, Lulu, Jimmy Cliff and Massive Attack (he recently completed the latter's world tour). He also plays with Protect The Beat, the all-star, jazz-funk band. Jon Moss is best known as the co-founder and drummer of Culture Club, but has also played with The Damned, The Clash, Adam And The Ants, Shane McGowan, Kirsty McColl, the Stiff Records House Band and Cameo. Jerry Richards is known as one of the all-time great space rock guitarists and has played with Tubilah Dog, Hawkdog, Agents Of Chaos and, of course, Hawkwind. He also fronts a 'space rock supergroup' called Earth Lab which features all the other members of DanMingo, along with Simon House and Ron Tree amongst many others. Check out Earthlab's Myspace page Steve Swindells (55 this year!) is the singer/songwriter of the band and has played with Hawkwind (when they were known as Hawklords) and the 70s pop band Pilot as well as releasing two solo albums: Messages on RCA and Fresh Blood on WEA. His songs have been covered by artists as diverse as Hawkwind, Lulu, Daniel Pearce and The Who's Roger Daltrey. He has also been a highly successful club promoter (The Lift, Jungle, Bad, Downbeat and Groove) and party organiser (The Face and Time Out Magazines, Warner music, Prince and Madonna, amongst others) in the 80s, and, in the 90s, a journalist; writing extensively for Time Out and Attitude magazines. Steve also mentors, writes with, records and produces several young rappers, singers and songwriters in North West London.
